Since 1777 Kent Brushes have been passionately crafting exceptional brushes and combs for every hair type. As one of the world’s oldest brush manufacturers, we are extremely proud of our British manufacturing heritage and aim to maintain our exceptional reputation through our dedication to exceeding all customer expectations. From the first to the last step in our manufacturing process, we remain focused on creating the world’s finest brushes. We never compromise on the quality of our brushes. To ensure quality, we only use premium materials. Our bristles are sourced from the finest bristle merchants in India and China, whilst our handles are made from timber chosen from sustainable forests throughout the world. These timbers are chosen based on their colour, beauty, grain, and sustainability to be shaped, drilled and polished. The rubber cushions used on our premium hairbrushes are selected for softness and strength ensuring they are comfortable for delicate scalps but durable enough to withstand daily use. Our plastic quills are carefully rounded to avoid damaging the scalp or pulling or tugging hair. Every step of our manufacturing process has been practised to perfection over the last 245 years and whilst we have harnessed the latest hi-tech manufacturing processes along the way, we still make many of our original brushes by hand.
