At a press meet held at EDEN in Sanepa on Friday, the band shared details of its world tour and upcoming performances, including its first-ever live concert in Kathmandu Nepal m, ‘Kathmandu Calling Kandara’, scheduled for November 9 at Club LOD, Thamel. At the event, band members discussed their anniversary concert and the destinations they’d visit. The tour launches alongside a global campaign, ‘Pahile Ghar Desh, Ani Paradesh’. According to nepali Aayush Dhamala Chettri, Kandara's band manager, the tour will begin with performances in the UK and Dubai in January 2025, followed by Japan in February, Australia and New Zealand in March and April, the USA in May, Canada in June, and Europe from July through August. Formed in the early 1990s in Pokhara in nepal , Kandara has produced a blend of traditional Nepali folk melodies and contemporary rock. They have launched songs such as ‘Timi Pari’, ‘Hongkong Pokhara’, and ‘Lekaki Hye Maya’, connecting generations and genres alike. #kamalhaiyaar
