The 500h has a 2.4L turbocharged 4-cylinder with Lexus hybrid drive, a 6-speed automatic transmission, a combined 367 horsepower, 406 lb-ft of torque and DIRECT4 AWD. It goes 0-60 MPH in 5.9 seconds and with a full tank of gas, you’ll get about 747 km/464 miles. The Lexus RX 500h has active noise and sound control, E Axle rear differential, an adaptive variable suspension, automatic-limited slip differential and 4-wheel active steering. There are three drive modes to choose from, Sport, Eco and Normal. The Lexus RX500h comes standard with DIRECT4 AWD, a system that constantly monitors how each individual wheel is interacting with the road and shifts power as needed to optimize traction and heighten your feeling of control. This performance Lexus RX comes standard with Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 including blind spot monitoring and rear-cross traffic alert. Other standard features include, a 7” F Sport digital cluster, 14” touchscreen, wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, wireless charger, head-up display, heated and ventilated front and rear seats, power front seats with driver seat memory, a heated F Sport steering wheel, 12-speaker audio system, available 21-speaker Mark Levinson, panoramic sunroof and a power rear door with kick sensor. In the US, the Lexus RX 500h has a much lower starting price so some of these features are not standard like the 14” touchscreen, panoramic sunroof, heated and ventilated rear seats and the power rear door with kick sensor. You can add these features plus many more from the a la carte menu. Fuel economy, the 500h gets 8.7L/100 km, 27 MPG highway and 8.4L/100 km, 28 MPG highway highway. There are two trims in Canada and one in the US, it starts at $83,832 CAD/$62,750 USD and F Sport Performance 3 is $89,632 CAD.
