Hey guys, this is Gaurav and I’m back with another video, wherein we are going to discuss the extent to which a black hole exhibits gravitational time dilation once an incoming object crosses the blackhole’s accretion disc and event horizon, thereby luring into the territory of the blackhole’s singularity, which is represented by the Schwarzchild radius. They say, once a person is in this region, there’s no going back. The huge mass encompassed in the singularity bends the spacetime fabric to such an extent, that even photons cannot escape this region with their lightspeed. And, those that somehow do, show a gravitational redshift, which an electromagnetic wave mostly shows when it travels unimaginable distances. So, does that mean, that the black hole somehow stops time, while the photons cover long distances inside it and come out?? And, would we experience the same, if we step inside a black hole??
