Did you know that the movie 'The Exorcism of Emily Rose' was based on a true story? The story is loosely based on a young German woman by the name of Anneliese Michel, who was born in 1952. At age 16, she began shaking uncontrollably and seeing demons. Doctors diagnosed her with grand mal epilepsy and psychosis. But her devoutly Catholic family believed demons had possessed her. The movie is more of a crime drama/thriller more than it is a horror movie. But I must say, when it came out in 2005, it scared the hell out of us.
