"Tsinelas" for Kids (Bisdak Ko Outreach) | Indigenous Communities A short video showing the second distribution of the cause: "Tsinelas for Kids". There were 67 pairs of slipper distributed in this event to elementary pupils. Watch the short video. This is an initiative by a long time high school classmate and a friend way back then. He is now assigned as a district elementary school nurse where Indigenous People (IPs) are living in the remote areas. The kids are living in a challeged situation wherein their parents have other basic priorities like food instead of providing their kids slippers. To attend classes every school day, pupils walked for about 2 to 4 kilometers from home to school and back home. The cause has initiated by a "Donation Campaign" for those willing to sponsor slippers for these less fortunate kids.
