DS9 is the flagship limousine positioned above the DS7 Crossback luxury SUV. DS9 is the successor to the Citroen C6. The DS is the reference to the model designation of an innovative DS19, which Citroen produced from 1955 yo 1975. Almost 35 years later Citroen introduced a luxury sub-brand DS, and in 2010 Citroen DS3 was launched as the first luxury model. It was followed by the DS4 and DS5.
