Hey, everybody, welcome to etrailer.com. I'm Bobby, and today we're taking a look at the Yakima Offgrid Roof mounted Cargo Basket here on our 2022 Subaru Outback Wilderness. So this is gonna be an excellent way, guys starting to free up some cargo space inside your vehicle. Get some of our heavy luggage up on top and start making our road trips and just our weekend end trips that much easier for ourselves. So, I really like the Offgrid here. There's gonna be a lot of reasons for it. The main one, I think it looks pretty cool here on the side. And I really like the tie-off points that we get throughout the side pieces here. Now on the kind of sides here you kinda have more of a plate design which is pretty cool, kinda little different than you might see on some of those other cargo baskets out there. Now the inside is gonna have your standard kind of grid or rod look. But I really do like a lot of things we're seeing on here. That black powder coat finish, as you can see, is gonna hold up pretty well. However, with any black powder coat paint, it's gonna be up to us to maintain it. If we find ourselves throw in metal on metal contact up on here, you're gonna see some dings, some scratches building up over time. However, it is very resistant to a lot of corrosion, which is great. I will say, I've actually had this guy outside of the shop every now and then. And once it gets rained on, some of the inner components might start generating a little bit of an orange rust around it. However, it wipes right up and it cleans up quite nicely, which is great. And again, gonna be up to us, maintain it just a little bit, especially if we wanna look it as clean as it comes out of the box. A couple things that are great about it too, we do have accessory bars here on top. That can be great for adding accessories on top of your Offgrid. Now here on the Subaru, not the tallest vehicle out there, so you could probably get away with a couple more accessories on top, and those also become great cargo management tools. As in, you can move these however you want, you are gonna have a tool that'll back 'em off. You could set it here towards the back and then actually have a pose for your big old coolers to ride up against and start tying down. So I do like to see that. We do have 165 pounds of weight capacity with this guy. And to that end, that's usually, I will say kind of the standard of a lot of crossbar systems out there. So, keep in mind, we should be checking our crossbars and our own roof capacity. You can check that in your vehicle's owners manual guide to make sure that we're not exceeding any of those limits. Overall, very, very decent grid here. What we have on the back and on the front, we actually have open ends. What's nice about that, if you do find yourself having some longer cargo, maybe even something like a standup paddle board, able to stick that through the back. And then we actually have some quick disconnects and connecting farings here. So us a little clip right here, can be walked off barely easy, and that way you actually have an entire open grid. Like I said, great for those longer things. Lumber could even be transported on here, but what I really do like about it is all those tie-off points that we have. As you guys are gonna see later, as we get a closer look, becomes excellent to start securing almost all of our cargo needs. While I've popped up on here on my Subaru, just to give us a closer look. Let's take a quick look at our inner dimensions. Now I'm gonna be taking it from where our faring actually starts cutting this off because we do have about 44 inches for our max external length. But for our internal length, we are gonna be sitting right about 39 inches to the very back side there. And for our width here today, inside-inside is putting us right under 38 inches which is great. For the depth that we have here, which can be really important when securing any of our cargo, that's gonna put us right at five inches to the very top. So, decent amount of dimensions to work with. Now, there are gonna be a few other dimensions of Offgrids available here at etrailer.com. Here on
