All about the Legend QDI motherboards!

Things I didn't add to this video to try and keep it shorter: QDI was based in China and were the largest manufacturer of motherboards in their time ( Much like Foxconn is today ). They were known as the "QDI Group" officially. There were also other chinese "groups" that joined the "QDI Group" in a sort of a "Kumbaya good neighbor Tim" approach, although they retained their individual company names, and added "group" to the end of it. I would bet most motherboards from the time ( PCCHIPS, and TOMATO come to mind ) that said "made in China" were manufactured for these companies by QDI. I do not know how else one could be " The largest manufacturer of motherboards and pc components" if this was not the case. From what I can gather anyway, the Legend Group was the design, development and prototyping group, which QDI sold as their own " in house " brand, LEGEND QDI. For all I know, the Legend Group may have designed a lot of the motherboards that QDI Group manufactured for the other brands, as sort of a generic layout. Which would explain why there are a lot of motherboards from the 90's and early 2000's that are basically all the same, with a few different changes in jumper placements but not much else.
