This is an organic lawn fertilizer that is fairly low in Nitrogen content but one of its main ingredients is alfalfa meal which is well known to be a natural source of Triacontinol, a growth stimulant for plants and their root systems. Many people use alfalfa meal in gardens and agriculture to boost plant growth and in this product Dr. Earth makes it really easy to apply alfalfa to the lawn so that we can reap the benefits of Triacontinol on top of our normal fertilization schedules.
