The Farm is a feature film that we were inspired to write and produce this story because it brings to light some very important social issues that don't get talked about enough and it happens to fall into a genre we're passionate about! We are a fierce group of storytellers based in Nebraska who have made film festival worthy productions on our own dimes. Now imagine our potential as filmmakers if we had a little cash in our pockets... The leap up in film quality would be exponential! We've got the skills, we've got the script, and we've got the passion--all we need is a solid budget and our project is sure to become a cult classic. One that YOU could have a hand in helping to create.  This is a story we are determined to tell and we can't do it alone. We need YOUR help to get it out into the world and to show everyone what Nebraska filmmakers are made of. Loosely inspired by true events, our focus follows a friend group of four struggling to live under the poverty line and how they cross paths with a murderous mind that preys on their social caste. In some ways this group and their story follows the stereotypical tropes of a classic horror movie--like breaking down on the side of the road and their only rescuer turning out to be their greatest threat. In other ways we explore new paths and character arcs that break and remake the standard for horror.
