Come and join me on one of the best camps I have ever done, a night by a campfire on the beautiful Rhossili Beach. Rhossili Bay is the most westerly bay on the Gower peninsula and bears the full might of the Atlantic swells. It is known as a great beach for surfing, with the biggest waves at the north end at Llangennith. It is a dramatic environment with Rhossili Downs towering above this three mile long beach. Heading west along the cliff path towards the end of the peninsula there is Worm's Head, a mile long promontory that juts out into the ocean. Rhossili Bay has been named as one of the top ten beaches in the world and has been voted the best beach in the UK.
