Thanks to help from a friend & a heavily delayed flight, we just about managed to see all four Class 92s in Romania, working with their owner DB Cargo. There were 8 Class 92s (Classified 472) sent to Romania, with the intended active fleet being 472 001 - 472006 (painted in DB Red) & 472 007-008 remaining in triple grey for spares. However, 4 were sold to Croatia & the Romanians repaired 472 007 & 008 for mainline service in their original condition, just with a few modifications. The current active fleet is: 472 002 (92001), 472 006 (92039), 472 007 (92003) & 472 008 (92026). So, in order we see: 1-4: A detailed look at 92026 parked up in Branesti 5: Finally after many hours 92026 departs Branesti with its rake of empty cartics 6: 92026 parked up in the bushes at Baneasa 7: 92001 departs a very windy Fetesti bound for Constanta 8: Shortly after being looped 92001 gets underway again seen departing Salingny 9-10: 92003 stabled at Inotesti with a rake of cargowaggons 11: 92003 stabled at Baneasa 12: 92001 passing (!) 92003 at Baneasa 13-14: 92001 then departing Baneasa 15: 92003 arriving into Baneasa with a container train 16-end 92039 stabled at Baneasa Filmed in early June 2022.
