I found some cool 1700s relics metal detecting this cellar hole in the NH woods

I went metal detecting a colonial 1700s cellar hole and found some Cool old relics. Hiking up into the hills of New Hampshire there are abandoned homesites scattered throughout the forest. The old cellar holes are the foundations from the houses that once stood tall and proud and that is where things can be found. I took my Garrett ATGOLD metal detector up for a couple hours of detecting and did pretty good. A lot of what can be found are old buttons made of copper, brass, tomb, lead and pewter. People had many buttons on the clothing of the day which would have been late 1700s for this site. As well there are many iron objects still in the ground like tools, nails and mystery items.
