#ForTheLoveOfTrains #Trains #PiccadillyLine #London #tube Journey on the Piccadilly Line from Cockfosters to Heathrow Terminal 5 on the 1973 Stock by Metro-Cammell. Filmed the Piccadilly line but this time going towards Heathrow Terminal 5. It was a bit of a challenge because the Journey to Heathrow is long but not as long as going towards Uxbridge. It was an enjoyable ride. The Piccadilly line starts from Cockfosters in the suburban North London to Acton Town in urban west London where the Piccadilly line splits into two branches where one branch goes towards Rayners Lane & Uxbridge and the other going down to Heathrow, a then goes underground From Hounslow West but only goes above ground for a few seconds to cross the River Crane and back underground towards Heathrow Airport. From Hatton Cross, some trains on the Piccadilly line would normally go to terminal 4 and back to Terminal 2 & 3 using the loop but due to the pandemic going on now, Terminal 4 has been closed until further notice so terminal 4 trains will have to terminate at Hatton Cross and run an empty stock back using the Terminal 4 loop. Start: Cockfosters Oakwood Southgate Arnos Grove Bounds Green Wood Green Turnpike Lane Manor House Finsbury Park Arsenal Holloway Caledonian Road King's Cross St Pancras Russell Square Holborn Covent Garden Leicester Square Piccadilly Circus Green Park Hyde Park Knightsbridge South Kensington - Closed until Spring 2022 due to Escalator Repairs. Gloucester Road Earl's Court Barons Court Hammersmith Acton Town South Ealing Northfields Boston Manor Osterley Hounslow East Hounslow Central Hounslow West Hatton Cross Heathrow Terminals 2&3 End: Heathrow Terminal 5 Filmed: 10th July 2021.
