In Honkai Star rail's lore there are an innumerable number of aeons that functions as gods to the mortal inhabitants of the universe. Each one of them represent a particular concept or principle like destruction or erudition. Among them the least understood is the path of nihility simply because its aeon, IX is not one for idle chatter. While the path of nihility represents nothingness and meaninglessness, for some odd reason this path seems to have a few factions that follow it. So in this video we are going to explore and answer the question of who exactly are the followers of nihility There are functionally 3 main factions that follow the path itself, the self-annihilators, the doctors of chaos and the very mysterious device IX. Though not much is known about them its very curious that there exist people who actually want to follow this particular path given what it stands for. So who exactly are these followers of nihility and why have they chosen to follow IX and its path Some part of this video comes from the actual lore while others may be speculation on my part as we currently do not know the full story. As such take it with a grain of salt as the point of this video is just a deeper dive into Honkai Star Rail lore.
