Sand vs. Eggshell Update: Dealing With the "Mud"

#thecrazywormlady #sandvseggshell #wormbin #experiment #redwigglers SAND VS. EGGSHELL PREMISE: There are theories around calcium in the worm bin. Many people (most perhaps) use eggshell or other calcium-based pH buffers and grit sources for their worms. It is said that calcium is important for reproduction and cocoon health in worms. Why not test it out! Will 2 bins setup identically act different based on the grit source? Each bin of red wigglers was started with 50 mature worms. Both bins are treated identically. Same food inputs, same bedding, same conditions. The only difference between the 2 bins is that one uses sand for a grit source while the other uses the eggshell (calcium-based) grit. ♥️ Any help is always appreciated as I try to bring new, educational and quality content. If you ever feel so inclined to donate a few dollars to the cause it would mean the world to me!
