The 2022-23 UConn Men's Basketball team started the season 14-0, marking the best start in program history since Jim Calhoun, Rip Hamilton and company started 19-0 in the 1998-99 season en route to raising the Huskies' first ever NCAA National Championship banner. Originally unranked entering this season, the Huskies continued to climb in the AP Poll earning a No. 2 ranking following an undefeated conference record and their first conference win of the season on the road at Butler. After a short two-game skid, Dan Hurley has his squad back on track having taken down BIG EAST opponent Creighton for the first time in program history. BIG EAST Preseason Player of the Year Adama Sanogo scored 26 points and pulled down nine rebounds to lead the Huskies to victory in front of a sold out Gampel Pavilion crowd. UConn now sits at No. 6 in the national rankings and looks to climb back into the top-5 with Marquette, Saint John's, Seton Hall and Butler up next. Presented by Cox Communications.
