Thank you for playing in the dirt and not the mud Max 😊 (not that I would stop him, but don’t let him know that). I’m repurposing soil from last year and I will add amendment to boost it. I want to rehome my lavender. It made it through winter, so I am hoping it blooms. Only time will tell. While I have leant so much in the past year or so I still have a long way to go and it ok if I make mistakes. I also was able to add more to the 1x1 m (3.2x3.2 ft) garden bed. I’m trying a lasagne type method to fill it. First will some hard organic material like sticks and branches, then soft organic material like grass. Now that it has sat for a few months I’m going to add the soil from last year’s garden, some blood and bone fertilizer (blood meal or bone meal) and water that in, let it sit. I will add some compost and other soil amendment eventually tan I will grow shallow root crops in this bed. Like onions, I am hoping they do well. I am really enjoying the first signs of spring the daffodils are out, and the blueberries are budding. I hope you had a good day. Thank you for taking the time to watch my upload!
