Swatching out a few of my favourite watercolour palettes, from Kauai (the Ocean Paper), and from Canada (Beam Paints), Manitoulin Island. I do the swatch and painting on a block of "Arches ", 12x16" , 140lb cold pressed watercolour paper. ($99 CAD for 20 sheets). My watercolour paper to "clean my brush off" is Canson XL 90 lb watercolour paper, in coil book. Watercolour brush: 12 round princeton watercolour brush.
