In today's video, we venture down to the southern part of Lake Ontario in search of lake trout. Once we left the launch and headed out to the desired grounds, we quickly realized the weatherman was a little inaccurate about the morning north winds. With this being the scenario, we decided to hold in tight in about 15-35 feet of water and changed our program to target brown trout and chinook salmon. Once the lake flattened out we headed out deep, slowly plucking away at lakers until we found the jack pot. This trip has been one that we have anticipated on doing for a long time now but life and weather kept getting in the way. Being able to execute our long awaited plans was a great feeling!
