Deadman’s Island Provincial Park is located on Burns Lake near the town of Burns Lake, British Columbia, Canada. It is about a 2.5 hour drive Northwest of Prince George BC. There is a public boat launch and dock available at Spirit Square Park free for anyone to use. The island is about a one hour paddle from the dock. The provincial park is user maintained but is under BC Parks jurisdiction. It is British Columbia’s smallest provincial park at only one hectare in size. There is no potable water on site so bring your own drinking water. There is picnic tables, fire pits, an outhouse toilet and shelter hut. You will need to bring your own firewood as cutting trees on the island is prohibited. Pack out all trash and leave the area clean. There is a dock on the island to tie boats.
