We were asked a little while ago what we'd recommend in terms of beginner Historical Miniature Wargames, and so I put the question to the editor of Miniature Wargames Magazine, John Treadaway. Whilst the question is a 'how long is a piece of string' one, and I put him on the spot to answer, he gave five stellar recommendations which I'm sharing with you here. These are all 'one stop shop' style places – you won't struggle to find miniatures for these, and that's important when you just want to get going!
