In this video I show you how to prepare your caladium bulbs for planting. I cover a vital tip which is de-eyeing/de eyeing the bulbs to promote more growth points and create a fuller plant. I prepare my bulbs late February which is a little early compared to others but I grow sets indoors and in the greenhouse. I would say the best time to plant them is in March/April as long as they are frost free and they grow faster in temperatures above 18°c/64°f, so perfect to grow indoors. I remember when people used to call these rare plants but these are easily available globally now. Great for indoors and outdoor planting and available in amazing colours.
