SHOW USER PHOTO FROM EMAIL - Power Apps Tutorial

Hey, guys! Rudy here, and in this video, we're going to tackle an interesting challenge in Power Apps. We have a gallery that displays user pictures based on their email addresses. However, when a user doesn't exist or has no picture available, we want to show a generic image instead. Join me on this journey as we start with a simple picture and end up seamlessly displaying all user images, with the generic image as a fallback option. Make sure to stay tuned, like this video, subscribe to my channel, and let's dive right in! How can I ensure a polished and error-free user experience in my app?ts? In this demonstration app, we're connected to an Excel table, which serves as our data source. I'll walk you through the process of leveraging the Office 365 Users connector to retrieve user images based on their email addresses. We'll explore functions like 'UserPhotoV2' and 'UserPhotoMetadata' to determine if an image exists for each user. To begin, I'll demonstrate how to establish the Office 365 Users connection and after that we'll incorporate the retrieved images into our gallery by using conditional statements. If an image exists, we'll display it using the 'UserPhotoV2' function. If not, we'll show the generic image. Throughout the video, I'll guide you step by step, explaining the reasoning behind each decision and providing helpful insights. By the end, you'll have a solid understanding of handling images dynamically within Power Apps. Remember to leave your thoughts and feedback in the comments section.
