We perform a reboot procedure to fix the OEM CV axles rather than replace them with inferior aftermarket ones. We also show how to do an extended/stretched CV boot modification for those who may have lifted trucks and are experiencing problems with premature ripping of the inner boots. This repair was done on a 2002 Toyota 4runner Limited but the information and technique we use can translate to other trucks and passenger vehicles as well.
