Nestled in the beautiful countryside northwest of Milwaukee, take the scenic highway 83 to enjoy a classic Wisconsin drive if you're coming from the south!! After arriving in Hartford, Eric checks into the Cobblestone Hotel, which is perfectly situated one block from Main Street. The next day, Eric rises early to check out Pike Lake - part of the Kettle Moraine State Forest. Joining up with the Ice Age Trail, there's a short hike to a great view of the town and of Holy Hill from the tower up at Powder Hill. Holy Hill is home to the Shrine of Mary Help of Christians, which is open to the public and draws hundreds of thousands of pilgrims and sightseers every year. Next up is a stroll through Main Street downtown that leads Eric to Scoop DeVille - an old-fashioned parlor serving homemade ice cream, malts, sandwiches & classic candies. He talks to Owner Ray Stelzer about his beautiful place and tries out a superb sundae! Eric finishes off his trip with a tour of the Wisconsin Automotive Museum!
