Tandoori Roti is a type of Indian unleavened bread which is usually made in a clay oven called a tandoor, hence the name "Tandoori Roti". The beauty of Tandoors are that they can reach very high heat, so the flavors it imparts into the Roti is very unique and has a slight flavor of the coal which makes it irresistible. No, you don't need any special tools or skills to enjoy this wonderful Roti.To be able to replicate that flavor at home is impossible, but we come very close with this recipe. The little trick of making it in the toaster is just so much fun and unique.
