Today's "Traction Action" takes place in & around Warrington Bank Quay station. It was only my second time at this location and had to fly solo for the first half of my eight hour stay and boy was it disorientating... The first few clips are from Slutchers Lane Bridge before I retire to the station having suffered at the hands of the disorientation combined with the coal workings going "up the spout" again. I have tried to compile a list of workings listed below, there were a few additional workings as well to really throw things into the mix. Notable locos were the three "Tugs" assigned to the MGR workings to and from Fiddlers Ferry Power Station, 60045, 60065 & 60091. 70002 & 70006 put in an appearence as do 20303 & 20302 on the days southbound flask movement. The eagle eyed of you will notice that 325005 travelled nortbound on the 1S96 to sheildmuir but returned solo southbound around half an hour later. I had tried using a tri-pod for a few shots but due to a combination of wind and general tri-pod troubles I returned to freehand shooting. Aside from the slight focus issue on the flasks there were no major problems, other than forgetting to hit record for the logs... A quick mention about 150136 which is visible in the clip with 66429, this is an ECS movement to Ellsemere Port and runs as a Monday Only "Parlimentary" service from Ellesmere port to Warrington Bank Quay. Best enjoyed in 1080 with the sound up.
