The Mardalsfossen is certainly a visit worthwhile. It is one of the most impressive waterfalls in Norway. It is a regulated waterfall and will only flow in the summer months (from 20 June-20 August). Mardalsfossen is a tiered waterfall consisting of two large drops and several smaller ones lower down. 45mins walk for normal hikers. Make sure the bring extra clothes and protection to your camera as you will be wet when you get nearer. I only walk halfway up to the bridge because of my heart.
