In our story, Siobhan believes Max accidentally killed Gabrielle. To prove her faith in him, she agrees to be his wife. They plan to marry on July 4th. Maggie's plans are coming apart fast when she can't get Dave to make love to her. She realizes that if she doesn't get pregnant in the next week, she won't be able to pull off the scheme. Roger offers to do the deed for her but Maggie secretly seduces Tiger Bennett into bed. After they have sex, Maggie is horrified to learn that Tiger's had a vasectomy and can't father a child. Roger convinces an upset Maggie that "miscarrying" a fake baby might be easier than conceiving a real one. When Dave points out a loose board on the stairway to the loft, Maggie and Roger plot to have Maggie "fall" down the stairs and lose "the baby". Katie accidentally discovers that Maggie and Tiger slept together and begins to wonder if Tiger is the father of Maggie's baby instead of Dave. First aired Friday July 5, 1985.
