This is a Speech given at Gurukul Sanskrit Academy, Pune on the occasion of International Sanskrit Day on 6th August 2017. This program has been conceived with the kind guidance of our beloved Gurudev Shri. Padmanabhan Krishnadasa. It is on the importance and beauty of सुभाषितम् in Sanskrit Language. 'सु' means 'Good' and 'भाषितम्' means 'Spoken'. An example of a सुभाषितम् and it's inner meaning has also been mentioned in this speech. Every year, with the grace, blessings and guidance of our beloved Gurudev Shri. Padmanabhan Krishnadasa, Gurukul Sanskrit Academy celebrates International Sanskrit Day. The students of the academy engage in various performances like - Skits, Songs, Recitations and Speech, all in Sanskrit language. A number of people attend this program every year.
