One questions I get a lot from my viewers is how to get cells with silicone. Acrylic pour cells are one of the most recognizable effects seen on Instagram, Pinterest and other social media. One of easiest way to get cells in your acrylic pour is by using silicone. Silicone is a very lightweight substance the floats in most acrylic paints and as it rises to the surface it catches and surfaces the different color paints it comes in contact with. The three most important part of getting cells with silicone are (1) paint consistency, (2) heat application, and (3) the amount of silicone used.
