Changing of the Guard in Stockholm, Sweden on Sunday 13th August 2023 supported by Hemvärnets Musikkar Gavleborg, The Swedish Home Guard Band from Gavleborg. The parade starts at the Army Museum parade square where the new guard forms up before marching through the streets of the city towards the Royal Palace Courtyard. All of it's musicians are part time with the band and rehearse once a week. The band are on parade under the direction of their Director of Music, Lieutenant Odd Inge and led by Hemvarnstrumslagare Lieutenant Pia, the band's Drum Major. On Sunday’s the parade forms up at the Army Museum at 1230, an hour later than during the week. There are also other time differences if the parade was to be mounted, where it would start earlier and also from a different barracks. *composed by Pahr-Allan Sandberg, a former conductor of this band who played French Horn in the band in this video.
