I remember how I always used to tell him how much I love watching proposal videos, just seeing the joy in the faces of those couples and how much I wanted to feel such a moment myself. It's just such a special moment of life that I wanted to experience. But unfortunately, due to the pandemic, we couldn't meet for a year, which was difficult as it is! Sooo, once our engagement date was fixed, I had it in my mind that it would be a super traditional event and never thought I'd get the kind of proposal I had dreamt of. I even recall discussing it with him and he had said to me that he was extremely shy to even go down on his knees at our engagement ceremony. It was just the kind of thing I anticipated would not happen! But, to my absolute joy and surprise, along with his whole family, he had this amazing flash mob proposal prepared for me! It was so unexpected because, during the Roka, they had made the both of us sit in front of the dance floor, right in the middle, I assumed it was because that was where the families wanted us to sit during the ceremony. And then out of nowhere, music started playing and his sisters started dancing, at first I thought it was a surprise performance for us by his friends and family. I even kept asking Shray if he knew about it and he kept denying it, and as we were watching, this amazing guy just stands up suddenly and starts dancing too! The sheer astonishment on my face and the joy that started to spread through my heart! Uff! The emotions I felt while he was dancing, and as he looked at me, can never be explained in words! I was so shocked, overwhelmed and ecstatic, not to forget feeling thousands of eyes on the both of us as they watched all of it. To be honest, I never thought that day, at the ceremony, it would end with him proposing, but he did! And it felt like an absolute dream. I guess for a couple of days after that night, I was still in awe of it all. It was honestly the most beautiful surprise of my life. It was a dream come true in so many ways! I cherish that night forever. I hope to watch this video even after 50 years and feel the same love and happiness. My complete heartfelt gratitude and thanks to everyone who helped Shray make this beautiful and amazing proposal happen. It will live in my heart as one of the best moments of my life, for always. ❤️
