Basey National High School HISTORY Basey National High School was attributed to the existence of two secondary schools of the town namely the Frank P. Brown Institute and the Junior High School, a private high school initiated by the prominent people of Basey. Private high school continued its operation until such time that Buscada Barangay High School was organized, it was turned over to the Municipality of Basey, hence it was named as Basey Municipal High School. Buscada Barangay High School and Basey Municipal High School was merged and named as Basey National High School by virtue of Presidential Decree 1050 on March 4, 1977.
