My power trim is not working on my boat all of sudden? How do you fix it? I'll show you as I replace fix my Johnson 175. Whether it is your trim down or trim up, I would recommend replacing both relays since they are so cheap. One of the relays is for the trim down and the other is for the trim up. Since my trim down was not working, I switched them and was able to trim down while I was waiting for the new parts to arrive. Here’s the link for the part (very inexpensive).
