Everyone has their own reason why they like hiking or backpacking. For me, it's a feeling of admiration and because nature constantly reminds us through solo hiking that we are really small and humble. The first day of this hiking adventure was on Bijambare. The Cave complex offer so many different hiking trails. Within this protected area, which is located at an average altitude of 950 meters above sea level and is overgrown with dense evergreen forest, there are several beautiful pastures, which intersect two streams, thus forming several small, very beautiful lakes. On the second day, I decided to continue in the direction of the south of the country and visit Jahorina and its highest peak Ogorjelic at 1,916 m above sea level. This Olympic mountain showed once again why mountains can be dangerous. From a sunny day, within less than an hour, the storm started to snow at such a speed that at times it was almost impossible to move. However, all these are the things that make us all love hiking and nature.
