Epiphone Dove Pro Electro-Acoustic Guitar - Violinburst A tight, smooth and focused sound is the hallmark of the Epiphone Dove Pro Electro-Acoustic Guitar, sister to the Hummingbird model.This instrument really sings, with a solid Spruce top and Maple back and sides whilst the Epiphone Dove features a 25-1/2" scale Hard Maple neck, Rosewood fret board with split parallelogram inlays, a decorative Dove with flowers embossed scratch plate, stylish Rosewood compensated bridge with wing inlays, and chrome machine heads. Epiphone have carefully emulated the Gibson original, and thereby made this instrument affordable for most guitarists. Solid Spruce Tonewood The Hummingbird PRO Electro-Acoustic features a solid Spruce top. Spruce is a rich and complex tonewood that begins to breathe and improve with age. The body and neck are made from select Mahogany and the Hummingbird PRO neck has a classic SlimTaper D profile and features a 25.5" scale and is attached to the body with a glued-in dovetail joint. The Rosewood fretboard has Pearloid Parallelogram inlays, 20 medium frets, a 12" radius, and a 1.68" nut. There is single ply white binding on the fretboard and 5-ply white & black binding on the body top while the back of the body has single ply white binding. The Hummingbird PRO has the classic sloped Dovewing headstock has the "Epiphone" logo in white. The Hummingbird PRO Electro-Acoustic reverse belly Rosewood bridge has a compensated saddle for smooth action and intonation. The Shadow NanoFlex pickup system is under the saddle and the classic Hummingbird/flower tortoise shell style pickguard is easy to spot on stage or across a room.
