Due to Covid-19 this couldn't be done in the Village Hall as it is usually done and so this year it was filmed in Polly's kitchen to share with the village. For those who want a copy of the ingredients, they are below. The recipe was originally was a Della recipe in a Waitrose promotion Christmas Cake Ingredients 750g Waitrose vine fruit mix 250g finely chopped apricots 200g tub mixed peel 200g hub cherries 100g chopped soft prunes 100g dried fruit 50g dried blueberries 50g dried cranberries 100g finely chopped stem ginger Soak overnight in a mixture of 100ml of Drambuie 100ml Cointreau and the juice & zest of one large orange 250g unsalted butter 200g Muscato sugar 300g plain flour 5 eggs You could add 100g of chopped walnuts at this point, we don't because the cake is served to so many people and we wouldn't want any nut allergy reactions. In the video I forgot to mention the sugar, but I can assure you it went in the batter mix
