(Part 1 of 2) We finally got the chance to take a fruit hunting trip down to the Florida Keys & are still floating on cloud nine from all the incredible places & tropical fruits we were able to explore. This first stop at Beth Kaminstein's private estate was one of the most memorable & awe-inspiring locations we have ever been. Between the cool history of the property, to the architecture, to the massive fruiting trees - this beachfront home & artist studio was indeed a big ol' X on the treasure map. Beth was one of the coolest people we've had the pleasure of meeting & we are so thankful that she shared her fruits & stories with us, so we can share it all with you. All that we really knew about this tree was more in line with the medicinal nature of the cancer-fighting leaves. But, after hearing from multiple people who claimed that the flavor of this fruit surpassed many other tropical fruits - we were doubtful. That is... until we got to try it for the first time! The complexity of flavors completely blew our minds & we are now in the lifelong Guanabana fan club too!
