25-Year-Old Soursop Trees in the Florida Keys (Part 1 of 2)

(Part 1 of 2) We finally got the chance to take a fruit hunting trip down to the Florida Keys & are still floating on cloud nine from all the incredible places & tropical fruits we were able to explore. This first stop at Beth Kaminstein's private estate was one of the most memorable & awe-inspiring locations we have ever been. Between the cool history of the property, to the architecture, to the massive fruiting trees - this beachfront home & artist studio was indeed a big ol' X on the treasure map. Beth was one of the coolest people we've had the pleasure of meeting & we are so thankful that she shared her fruits & stories with us, so we can share it all with you. We have a little regret over not filming her artist (pottery) space, so if you are interested in seeing her work - you can find it on her website/gallery: https://kaminsteinclay.com Up until this visit, we were a little doubtful of the hype surrounding the Guanabana/Soursop fruit. All that we really knew about this tree was more in line with the medicinal nature of the cancer-fighting leaves. But, after hearing from multiple people who claimed that the flavor of this fruit surpassed many other tropical fruits - we were doubtful. That is... until we got to try it for the first time! The complexity of flavors completely blew our minds & we are now in the lifelong Guanabana fan club too! Stick around for tomorrow's other half, where we get to visit the other fruits at her homesite, talk about rain collection, the history & the smart design of this one-of-a-kind property & home. This might be our best drone footage to date, too! What an inspiring way to live! Thank you for your hospitality, Beth! (Plus, a big thank you to Erica Klopf for the introduction!)
