shtein testimony Around the end of May 2024 I had my first encounter with God. I was reading my bible while I was sitting on my bed before I slept for the night, and God filled my room. A feeling of love closed in on me so gracefully it felt as if my soul was being hugged. All my worries and responsibilities and cares for this world left in that moment. His presence was unexplainable, and I knew it was Him because my mind was on Him and I started crying tears of joy. Pure joy so powerful enough to make me cry. I didn't want that feeling to go away. But when it did, I felt full, I felt complete. I had been filled with the Holy Spirit and was now ready to turn away from sin and give my life to Jesus. And after, the thought of living life without Jesus, as I'd been doing before, began to scare me. Life is so beautiful when you're walking with Him. It's so easy to love everyone and identify other believers. My life has never been hard and I've never had to struggle, but I still needed God. And when I sought him out, I found him, and he welcomed me with his unconditional love. "Keep on asking, and you will be given what you ask for. Keep on looking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And the door is opened to everyone who knocks." - Matthew 7:7-8
