Uh SPOILER WARNING first off. Heh, yeah. I know the irony of this song ending up being used for a Steven-centric thing. But, I don't know, as the final season progressed, this was all I could think about. So tbh, this took much less time to make than the others, and a lot less revision because I kinda knew how this was gonna go? And a lot of things kinda changed because the end of the series came out, and idk, I like referencing things a lot and do that in a lot of my art so a lot of this was just...things that happened throughout Future. There's a little over 100 sticky notes that were used for this, and I think I might take a short break from making SU stuff. I can kinda feel a burn out coming on it? Like if I keep doing stuff like it it'll happen, which I 100% don't want to happen because this is my favorite cartoon but I do wanna do some other things for a little bit. Really try my hand at actual animating, lol. (Plus I gotta start getting some stuff ordered and made for an upcoming con, which hopefully is still on? It's not until August so. It should still be okay...hopefully.) Altogether I think this animatic only took me about 10 hours? If even that. Which seems like a while, but compared to the Spongebob one I made, that was half the time. And I think this one I did in even less time than the last two sticky note animatics? (A la BFF and I Guess I Miss You) Also: like I know the SUF ending was heckin' cheesy and goofy and all about friendship and hugs and stuff, but boy howdy. I was kinda happy it ended in a classic...well...Steven Universe way. It wasn't solved with a song, but it was solved love and patience. Which like, heck yeah did our boy need most, amirite?
