Over the years, Pioneer Rail Corp. has acquired a small fleet of former Santa Fe GP20Us and recently assigned several to the ND&W. In 2020, these classic EMDs have become a rare breed and a railfan favorite, with many photographers flocking from all over the midwest to capture these vintage diesels in action.
