1993 Buick LeSabre Custom|Walk Around Video|In Depth Review|Test Drive

Ahh...The 90's. It was an odd time, especially in the early 90's. Car design was finally starting to make a change from the boxy weirdness of the 1980's and the Taurus really spearheaded that movement with its design. GM was lacking in this area, and by 1992, they were starting to update their lineups to more curvaceous and streamlined vehicles. Buick, with the exception of the Skylark, was really marketed for an older generation, so the classic styling really worked for quite a while. The LeSabre took its design from the larger Park Avenue and the interior looked decidedly very 1970's in design, with a large, flat dash, horizontal speedometer, simple audio and climate controls and a huge front and rear bench seat. Overall, this really worked and the LeSabre ended up being a wonderfully comfortable and extremely reliable car. The car featured in this video is a pretty basic, no frills example of a very nicely maintained 1993 Buick LeSabre Custom. Watch the video here:    • 1993 Buick LeSabre Custom|Walk Around...   With production running from 1959 to 2005, the Buick LeSabre spanned 8 generations and took its name from the very well-known aircraft-inspired Harley Earl designed 1951 Le Sabre show car for the 1951 Motorama. In 1991 for the 1992 model year, the LeSabre was redesigned to appear more like the larger Park Avenue sedan. The Buick City assembly plant in Flint, Michigan, which was in operation since 1904, moved LeSabre/Bonneville production to Hamtramck and Lake Orion Assembly with Buick City Assembly’s closure in 1999 and completely ceased production in 2010.
