More info: http://splitrockguitars.com/JoeBarden... This is a Stratocaster-size pickup but I also used two custom build T-styles in the demo to show the pickup's sonic abilities. Amps used: 1) Peavey Classic 20 (12AX7 & EL84 tubes, clean) 2) VOX Pathfinder 15R Guitar Combo Amplifier (solid state, clean) 3) Marshall MG10CD 10 watt Guitar Amp (solid state, clean & dirty) Recorded by a Sony HDR-SR12 internal camera mic. No additional effects used with the exception of some compression and reverb in some parts. According to joebarden.com, "The S-Deluxe Chunky is a thicker sounding variant of the Joe Barden S-Deluxe bridge pickup. It fits inside a standard Strat body and delivers just the right amount of extra thickness that Strat players have been asking for. And, unlike full-sized humbuckers or heavily over-wound 'fat' Strat pickups from other pickup companies, the S-Deluxe Chunky does not take you outside the city limits of Strat-ville. One JBE artist called the S-Deluxe Chunky "a turbo-charger" for his bridge pickup that still allows him to get credible Strat bridge and in-between tones but with a heavier feel. The S-Deluxe Chunky is available either individually or in a value priced/packaged S-Deluxe Chunky Set, and in your choice of black or white."
