Tudor Caravan Park Review | Our First Camping Trip | Vango Casa Tent

Join us on our first camping experience at Tudor Caravan Park in Slimbridge. We had rain, wind, early morning wake up calls by birds, air beds that didn't stay up and great fun. The Tudor Caravan park just outside Slimbridge Wetlands centre and the Tudor Arms pub seemed like the ideal place to try our Vango Casa Lux Tent out for the first time. The Site is situated about 2 minutes drive from Slimbridge WWT and about 20 minutes drive from Gloucester (which we found to be quite useful when it rained as they had a cinema that kept the kids occupied. As it was our first time camping we didn't know what to expect, but even after nearly 3 hours of trying to pitch the tent, that is advertised as being pitch able in 20 minutes! We also give our initial impressions of the tent and the equipment we had bought, The Slimbridge WWT is definitely worth a visit and you can see what to expect on our vlogs listed below. And Tudor caravan Park itself was lovely, very clean, great big pitches, that easily accommodated our tent that was 7m x 5m. Facilities were all spotless with plenty of water, toilets and showers and it has the added benefit of the lovely Tudor Arms pub at the entrance (which does serve good food).
