Savitri cinema is located in Greater Kailash of South Delhi and instead of long queues for watching a movie now there is a long queue of traffic every day. Ticket checker manhandles the crowd as people try to enter without a ticket. You can see a white Cielo, fiat cars, blue Maruti 800 along with the usual serving of the yellow and black auto-rickshaws. A viewer tells us: "This is Savitri Cinema in South Delhi. It was known for running English films in the morning shows, Don (1978) was a big hit here and completed a silver jubilee. Films like Rangeela and Satya also did well here. It always got tough competition from Sapna and Paras, two giant theaters nearby. Eventually all 3 cinema halls shut down one by one."
