This episode will transport you to an island nobody knows of! I didn't find a single tourist when I was here and the island comprises just of 3500 locals! It's truly a revelation, a hidden gem, tucked just 3 hours from Bangkok! The locations are minimal, but the island is so so beautiful, it'll make you want to pack your bags and head away for that me-time or unwinding holiday, right away! The cherry on the cake for me of course, was the stay. I found this one after so much researching since Google only kept showing up regular 5-star hotel chains and some AirBnBs. But I wanted to experience the island in the most raw form possible, and so I researched and ended up finding this gem, that you won't find on Google - The UnSeen Resort. Here are some details that'll help you get around the island easier: My accommodation: UnSeen Resort: https://www.unseensichang.com/en/ They barely understand English, so have Google Translate handy Renting a bike: You can do this at the resort itself at Rs 300/ 350 a day The entire island is reachable by bike, it's really tiny Note: Everything on the island (cafes and supermarkets) shut by 8pm so make sure you plan getting around accordingly Do not confuse the name of the island with "Koh Chang" which is more popular one and so people may assume you want to get there. Make sure to let the person at the ferry ticket counter know this clearly and also the Tuk Tuk driver.
