Our family grocery shopping experience in TUNISIA

Did you ever go grocery shopping in a foreign country? What are the struggles you find? Do you enjoy it at all or does it feel a bit overwhelming? We have been to 42 countries in the past 4 years and we have been to a grocery shop in each country more than once! We know it can be a struggle at times, as well as a very fun experience. Plus there is so much to learn from a country by going to their grocery stores!!! In this series, we will take you with us to each country's grocery store. We will show you some of our struggles as well as all the great products we find! I hope you like it!!! In this episode, we are in Tunisia! During our time here we experienced many different ways to get our groceries. We went to the big stores that have lots and lots of options. However, we also went around our neighborhood and experienced grocery shopping from the local store. Including buying veggies and fruits directly on the streets from a stall or a truck. We also learned that Tunisians like to have bread with their meals and the best place to get it is at the boulangerie (the bakery). We have experienced the struggle of trying to buy something and not knowing how to ask for it but getting creative in explaining it 😂.
